We were are so happy to have purchased a Marita Vaskova painting! Her work is beautiful and will be proudly displayed in our home. Marita and her assistant, Kateryna, are lovely people and welcomed us into the studio to view the artwork. Making a decision was not easy as there were so many wonderful works to choose from! We did decide on two pieces and brought them home to the US with us. This was a very nice ending to our visit to Portugal!
We were so happy to meet the wonderful artist Marita and her lovely daughter, Kateryna! We had looked for Lisbon art to take home all week and luckily found Marita! Her paintings are bright, colorful reflections of this beautiful city! They were both very kind and accommodating! They rolled and wrapped the canvases we'll for transporting! Very happy to own paintings by Marita Vaskova!
Beautiful artwork, a great souvenir to commemorate your visit to Lisbon while directly supporting a local artist. They closed their gallery during the pandemic and are operating out of their private residence. This just means it takes a bit of coordination and planning, but the art is well worth the tiny bit of extra effort.
A lovely, intimate art gallery. I bumped into this gallery by accident, and had a great experience! Wonderful paintings centered around the beautiful city of Lisbon that you’ll have a chance to buy. I bought one of Marita's paintings as it expresses, for me, the colours and passions of Fado, and I love colours! Also, it is based on Alfama; I recognise some of the buildings even though it is an abstract painting.
Marita is a very talented artist. We love her work and received excellent help and communication from Kateryna. We will be back for more. Highly recommended 👍
